For more than a decade, Waseem Ahmed has earned the trust of Chowchilla residents through steady leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and a commitment to putting the community first. Since first being elected to the Chowchilla City Council in 2014, he has served as Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and represented Chowchilla on regional boards and commissions. His focus has always been simple. Listen, lead, and deliver.
Before joining the City Council, Waseem served as Chairman of the Chowchilla Planning Commission and President of the Chowchilla Chamber of Commerce. His background in business and public service gives him the experience to bring people together, solve problems, and make decisions that strengthen Chowchilla today while preparing for tomorrow.

Since taking office in 2023, Zack Abernathy has worked to strengthen schools across Tuolumne County by focusing on transparency, student achievement, and safe learning environments.
But his service didn’t begin when he became Superintendent. Zack has long been part of this community’s fabric, leading teams, coaching youth sports, mentoring students, and building strong relationships with families and educators.
He understands that lasting progress comes from steady leadership and collaboration, not division. That is the commitment he brings to Tuolumne County every day.
The safety of our neighborhoods is important to me. I raised my family in our community. My daughters are Lodi Unified graduates, and my grandson graduated from LUSD in 2020. With your support, I will bring stability and common sense to our District Attorney’s Office.
