Putting Chowchilla Residents First

Putting Chowchilla Residents First

For more than a decade on the City Council, I have had the opportunity to listen to residents, work through challenges facing our city, and help make decisions about Chowchilla's future. That experience has reinforced my belief that local government works best when residents know their voices matter.

As Mayor, I will continue to listen to every neighborhood, focus on responsive and reliable city services, and work to bring people together around practical solutions. I know our community, I understand how City Hall works, and I am ready to use that experience to provide strong, effective leadership for Chowchilla's next chapter.

Experienced Leadership. A Fresh Direction.

Together, we can keep Chowchilla safe, strengthen our community, and build a better future for the city we call home.

Keep Chowchilla Safe

Public safety must always be a top priority. I will continue supporting our police officers, firefighters, and first responders and work to ensure they have the staffing, equipment, training, and resources they need to protect our community.

That also means planning ahead as Chowchilla grows, maintaining strong emergency services, and making sure every neighborhood receives the attention it deserves. Our families, businesses, seniors, and children should feel safe in the community they call home.

Reliable infrastructure is one of the most basic responsibilities of city government. I will prioritize repairing and maintaining our streets while working to strengthen the water, sewer, and other essential systems Chowchilla residents depend on every day.

We also need to plan responsibly for the future. New growth should be supported by adequate infrastructure, and investments should be made carefully so we address today’s needs without creating unnecessary burdens for tomorrow’s taxpayers.

Residents deserve to know how decisions are being made and how their tax dollars are being spent. I will promote transparency, fiscal responsibility, high ethical standards, and open communication between City Hall and the community.

City government should be accessible and responsive. Residents should be treated with respect, questions should receive answers, and important decisions should be made openly and responsibly.

A stronger local economy creates opportunities for families and generates the revenue needed to provide quality city services. I will work to attract responsible new investment and development while supporting the local businesses that are already part of our community.

Chowchilla should be a place where businesses want to invest, entrepreneurs can succeed, and residents have greater access to good-paying jobs close to home. Economic growth should strengthen our community while preserving the character that makes Chowchilla special.

Local government works best when it listens. As Mayor, I will make sure residents from every neighborhood have an opportunity to be heard and that City Hall remains focused on providing dependable, responsive service.

My approach will combine the experience I’ve gained serving Chowchilla with a fresh direction for our city’s future. That means listening to residents, bringing people together, focusing on results, and putting the needs of Chowchilla ahead of politics.
